This powerful tarot reading course aims to develop your competence and Tarot reading skills. Learn the meanings of each of the 78 cards in the Tarot deck, and demonstrate the dynamic techniques used to interpret the cards with greater meaning and accuracy.

Course Outline:

Module 1:

Lesson 1: Introducing the tarot

This lesson provides a warm welcome and introduction to the incredible world of Tarot! It focuses on the practical wisdom and guidance that Tarot can provide in everyday life. Tarot is a phenomenally powerful and informative tool, helping you in achieving personal and professional counsel in daily life. We also explore how Tarot cards have occupied people’s minds and imaginations for centuries. Adopted by New Age practitioners in the modern-day these cards also fascinated spiritualists in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Here we also delve into Tarot reading, from Jung’s point of view, as a process that unveils the unconscious and which follows the perennial clues of psychic alchemy. Lastly, we explore how to select your deck of cards.

Lesson 2: Preparing to read the Tarot

Now it is time to get you started on your Tarot journey. We show you how to prepare for your reading from energizing, attuning and professionally cutting the cards to the importance of 'closing' and cleansing the cards after a reading.

Lesson 3: The Tarot reader's lexicon

Explore the key terms used in this course. We also look at the Tarot as the 'fool's journey' and examine the gender and sexual orientation in relation to the card symbolism.

Lesson 4: The anatomy of the tarot deck

Here we will overview the 78 cards of the Tarot deck, each card having its own imagery, symbolism and story. The 22 Major Arcana cards represent monumental, ground-breaking influences. They are powerful karmic and spiritual lessons representing life-changing motions that define the beginnings or ends of cycles. These dynamic cards appear during major transitions, signaling distinctive moments of transformation. The 56 Minor Arcana cards, on the other hand, reflect everyday matters. They reflect the trials and tribulations that we experience daily. We also explore the elemental/zodiac and numerology behind the cards. In addition, we explore reversed cards.

Lesson 5: The art of reading the tarot

This lesson provides an understanding of the easy techniques that will catapult your tarot reading mastery. We also delve into card combinations and how to read cards together to create a complete story.

Lesson 6: The feared cards

Explore some of the more feared cards in the deck which reflect more intense energy. Our biggest growth lessons often come through challenges and in this lesson we explore the  Devil, Three of Swords, The Death, The Moon, The Tower, The 10 Swords and Five of cups. Each of the cards contains powerful spiritual lessons that once mastered lead to joy and happiness in all areas of life. How to reframe the scary cards to continue your growth and understanding.

Lesson 7: Tarot Reading Ethics

We discuss the ethical methods of Tarot reading to ensure that your readings are for the best and highest good for both yourself and your clients.

Lesson 8: How to start a tarot reading business

You will learn how you can get your tarot reading business off the ground. What you need to consider when starting a tarot reading business, some offline and online marketing strategies, maintaining existing clients, where to read tarot and when to become a professional tarot reader.

Module 2:

Lesson 1: Major Arcana: The Fool and The Magician

This lesson explores the Major Arcana. There are two main types of cards in a classic deck: The Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. Major Arcana cards are also known as Trump cards. Beginning with "The Fool" at zero, and ending on "The World" at 21, the Major Arcana represent the Fool's Journey as he learns lessons along his path. When pulled during a tarot reading, they represent an overarching theme and nudge us to think about the bigger picture. Here we will explore the rich symbolism of The Fool and The Magician.

Lesson 4: Major Arcana: Strength, The Hermit and Wheel of Fortune

Explore the rich symbolism of Strength, The Hermit and The Wheel of Fortune.

Lesson 5: Major Arcana: Justice, Hanged Man and Death

Uncover the rich symbolism of The Justice card, The Hanged Man and Death.

Lesson 6: Major Arcana: Temperance, The Devil and The Tower

Lesson 3: Minor Arcana - The Suit of Swords (Ace to Seven)

Investigate the suit of Swords Ace to Seven. The Suit of Swords is associated with the element of Air. It represents your thoughts, words, and actions. The swords often appear in tarot readings about communicating your ideas, making decisions, and asserting your power.

Lesson 4: Minor Arcana - The Suit of Swords (Eight to Ten and Court Cards)
